GVM Upgrades is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cape Bouvard Engineering Pty Ltd. CBE. It primarily focuses on developing and investing in a wide range of unique technologies that enhance the quality of life for its customers.

The company has a rich history in the automotive arena, with the proprietor pioneering a range of novel combustion technologies during the 1980s. These technologies have contributed meaningfully to superior fuel economy and lower exhaust emissions found in current-day vehicle designs. GVM Upgrades has been formed by drawing together highly experienced technical and operational staff from several other successful entities founded by the proprietor.

WHY CONSIDER A GVM UPGRADE

The usable payload of many 4×4 vehicles today is minimal. Adding some essential vehicle accessories, two or three adult passengers, and a modest toolbox can bring a ute close to, if not over, its maximum legal weight. Maximum legal weight is also known as the rated Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), and operating a vehicle while exceeding this is illegal.

Since it is easy to reach the maximum GVM, it is crucial always to be aware of your weight and the rated GVM. Upgrading your GVM will prevent you from unintentionally passing your maximum weight limit – keeping you and your passengers safe.
